VAMBRA Signs Strategic Partnership with Verge HealthTech Fund (Singapore): Driving Innovation and the MedTech Ecosystem in Vietnam

SINGAPORE, March 7, 2026 – The Vietnam Association of Medical Biological Research and Application (VAMBRA) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Verge Capital Management (Verge HealthTech Fund). This event marks a significant milestone in bridging international resources and introducing cutting-edge medical technology solutions to Vietnam’s healthcare system.

During the working session, both parties expressed a strong commitment to collaborating across several key areas, including but not limited to: medical innovation, biomedical technology, early-stage technology assessment, pilot implementation, market entry support, ecosystem development, and investment-related cooperation. This partnership also encompasses fostering the exchange of information regarding medical technologies, digital health, and medical biotechnology. The overarching goal is to catalyze medical innovation, facilitate the responsible deployment of health technology solutions, and enhance healthcare delivery outcomes and preventive medicine through pilot projects, strategic consultancy, ecosystem coordination, and other collaborative initiatives.
According to the MOU, both sides will prioritize the following key pillars:
Technology Assessment and Pilot Implementation: Identifying and integrating disruptive Health-tech solutions from Verge’s global portfolio into clinical practice at hospitals and research institutes in Vietnam. Key areas of focus include early diagnosis, preventive medicine, and digital health.
Healthcare Ecosystem Development: Organizing innovation forums and Demo Days to bridge the gap between startups, international investors, and local healthcare stakeholders.
Market Entry and Investment Support: Establishing regulatory roadmaps and commercialization strategies for emerging technologies, while exploring co-investment opportunities in projects with high social impact.
For the purpose of ensuring feasibility and technical depth, VAMBRA has appointed the High-Tech Application Center (HAC) and Viethealth to lead the direct implementation and coordination of specific projects emerging from this collaboration.

A representative from Verge Capital Management expressed strong confidence in the Vietnamese market's potential, highlighting its rapid technological adoption. Verge is committed to serving as a strategic bridge, bringing regional MedTech 'essentials' to Vietnam while supporting local partners in aligning with international operational standards.
The signing ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of mutual trust and high determination. With the partnership of Verge Capital Management, VAMBRA continues to affirm its pioneering role in the research, application, and transfer of modern biomedical advancements. This collaboration significantly contributes to enhancing healthcare quality for the public and elevating the standing of Vietnamese healthcare within the regional landscape.
