On September 24, 2025, the Vietnam Association of Medical and Biomedical Research & Applications (VAMBRA) served as a strategic bridge, facilitating a high-level working session between Hanoi Medical University (HMU) and its strategic partner, SingHealth (Singapore).
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu (President) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thi Kim Thanh (Vice President) of Hanoi Medical University emphasized that scientific research and innovation are core pillars of the university’s development. They affirmed HMU’s readiness to collaborate in integrating high-tech biomedical solutions into clinical practice.
In response, representatives from SingHealth expressed a strong commitment to a long-term partnership. They aim to support Vietnam in key areas, including:
Collaborative Research and Clinical Trials: Partnering on global-standard medical studies.
Manufacturing and Distribution: Developing and bringing biomedical technologies to market.
AI Integration: Implementing Artificial Intelligence to optimize healthcare delivery.

In its role as a catalyst for partnership development, VAMBRA has successfully driven both parties to reach a consensus on four key focus areas:
Research and Clinical Trials: Collaborating on high-impact medical studies and standardized trials.
Manufacturing and Distribution of Biomedical Technology: Streamlining the production and commercialization of advanced healthcare solutions.
AI Integration in Healthcare: Implementing artificial intelligence to enhance diagnostic and operational efficiency.
Global Research Connectivity: Linking domestic institutions to international scientific networks.
As part of the official program, the SingHealth delegation visited the Center for Gene and Protein Research and Hanoi Medical University Hospital, where cutting-edge research initiatives are currently being implemented.
This event not only opens prospects for a sustainable partnership but also contributes to elevating the quality of medical education, research, and public healthcare. Furthermore, VAMBRA’s involvement reaffirms the Association’s steadfast commitment to fostering international biomedical cooperation and building robust bridges between domestic and global institutes, universities, and hospitals.
